Not me! And my recent exodus from the workforce is not anything like retirement! But life is good :)
The next several days Flourishes is focusing on retiring sets. Today I am using Summer Botanicals. It’s a lovely set full of solid silhouetted summer flowers. Below I have used the Summer Snowflake image. I stamped it with white pigment ink and embossed it with detail white embossing powder on a piece of patterned paper from the Fairy Flora line by Prima.
I used Labels Eleven from Spellbinders to cut out my sentiment from the Life Lines set and the mat beneath it, which is a scrap of Bo Bunny dot paper I have been hoarding!
The next card I created using the coneflower image. I stamped in it black then stamped it again, a bit offset from the original, without re-inking the stamp.
I thoroughly inked around the image panel with various VersaMagic chalk inks until I had a shade that coordinated with the birdies on the pp from Fancy Pants - it’s the little things line. More fun polka dots! What’s with that? I don’t know, but I love ‘em!
Now Barbara also has a sample to share from a retired set so hop on over to her blog and check it out! There will be more from all the ladies through Saturday so keep checking back with the team.
You can find all the retired sets in the SALE category in the Flourishes store. And there are new Copic sets in the store too, check them out here!
Have a great weekend everyone!
