With just two hours left to get in this weeks challenge, I’m done! Until tomorrow of course…
I made this card for the Kraftin Kimmie challenge #66 which is a sketch challenge and a really nice one too! This is Nerissa.
I colored the image first with Copic markers then went over her tail and fins with Luminarte H20’s. I used the H20’s also to paint on tiny scales on her tail. I shaded all around the image with Prismacolor pencils as well. I embossed the circle beneath the image with a Cuttlebug folder that looks like bubbles. The fish paper is a piece from Heidi Grace that I’ve been hanging on to. I knew it was perfect for this! I used my banner die from Lil’ Inker Designs to stamp my sentiment and tied on a tiny starfish charm with some rustic twine. I used some ruffled edge ribbon and stamped the corner with the bubble image which I painted with H20’s, then added glitter while wet, then topped with Diamond Glaze.
In the photo below you can really see some of the shimmer from the H20’s. It’s really very pretty irl! Even the fish in the paper are reflective :)
Please see this post here and hop on over to wish a happy birthday to Jan Marie!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
