Flourishes February Sneak Peek Day Two

It’s that wonderful time of the month again when I get to start sharing the new releases from Flourishes. Today I am showing you From the Desk of and it’s gorgeous!

I knew I had to create some kind of stationary set with these beautiful images. I made a really simple folder to hold some notes cards.

I covered the front of the folder with vellum from Websters Pages. I don’t know what line it’s from though. I stamped the image on Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock and colored it with Copic markers. I matted it with a very narrow border of dark brown card stock and added a Zva gem flourish behind it.

On the inside I covered the pockets with more Websters Pages vellum. I also stamped the sentiment and matted it and added it over one of the panels. I’ve tucked a few cards inside after threading through some gorgeous May Arts Silk ribbon.

Below are pictures of the two note cards shown in the folder. I stamped “from the desk of” and left it blank below. When I decide who I am going to give this to I will write in their name.

I love how these images can really stand on their own. They are just perfect for these simple note cards. They are also nice and flat for mailing. I don’t always think about that when I am making a card and then it’s a hassle to mail.

I love this set and I know it will be perfect to make so many stationary gift sets!
