I had purchased this stamp set about a year ago knowing it would be perfect for a couple of people on my list who adore angels-besides that it’s beautiful!
The image is from the set Angels from Inkadinkado that I picked up in Michaels.
I started by stamping and embossing the image in white. I then colored it with Copic markers. I shaded around the image with very light blue chalk and cut it out with Spellbinders Labels Sixteen. I then inked on the inside edge of the die while it was still in place with Wheat chalk ink from a Memento Dew Drop. I layered it over another die cut using Spellbinders Curved Rectangles. I stamped and cut out the sentiment, from Stampin Up, with Spellbinders Labels Fourteen, also inking with Wheat. The floral patterned paper is from the Fairy Flora paper stack by Prima. The roses are also Prima and the ferny stuff is a Martha Stewart punch.
Hopefully you can see more detail in the shot below. It’s hard to capture the white…
Come back tomorrow for another Color Throwdown-I’m hosting and I have some warm colors for our challenge to fight off this deep freeze!
