Flourishes Sneak Peeks day two

Welcome back!  You’re in for a vintage treat today!

Vintage Postcard Graphic

This new Flourishes set, Vintage Postcard, really brings back memories of a time long ago…long before me too!  But I love this style!

DPK_SneakPeek_VintagePostcard

I started by stamping my image with Memento Tuxedo on Flourishes Classic White card stock and adding color to just a few images with a sponge and chalk ink.  I then inked around and over the entire panel with a sponge and Dew Drop Wheat chalk ink.  I had the brilliant idea to do the cracked glass technique but was a bit heavy handed in the embossing department because it is really heavy now, lol!   I embellished with a flourish die cut using a Tim Holtz alterations Sizzix die, pearls, and some gorgeous May Arts crocheted trimmed velvet ribbon.   It’s layered on a piece of patterned paper from the Wassail line by Basic Grey.

Make sure you join us tonight over at Splitcoast in the member forum at 9pm central time for the release party!  You get to see all of the new sets before they go live and can shop right after the party!    You can purchase the entire bundle for 10% off…and you can also play to win it by joining in the challenge here on the Flourishes blog!
