Flourishes Sneak Peek Day 1 and a Throwdown

Today is the first day of Flourishes sneak peeks starting with the set Paperwhites.

Paperwhites Graphic

I love Paperwhites for the holidays and need to get mine started so I have blooms for Christmas!   This is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Flourishes Classic White card stock and colored with Copics.

I used patterned paper from the Jovial line by Basic Grey.  The decorative edge was created with a Martha Stewart border and corner punch.   I inked around the image panel and shaded around the flowers with chalk.

I have a second card created with the same set that also uses the Color Throwdown colors today which are Soft Suede, Kraft, and Cherry Cobbler, yum!

I stamped the images on kraft paper and colored with Prismacolor pencils and oms.  I added a very simple sentiment with ribbons and pearls.  In hindsight I wish I had sponged the edges of my Spellbinders tag that the sentiment was cutout with, but if I tried it after is was attached it would have been a disaster!  I punched some ferns with a MS punch and tucked them under the sentiment.  Kinda strange looking?  Well, different anyway!

You can pre order this and any of the new sets from Flourishes today!  You can get the bundle at 10% discount-you know you’re gonna want it!   Don’t forget to join us at the member forum on Split Coast Thursday night at 9pm central time for the release party where you will get to see all of the new sets and be able to shop right after the party ends!

Please also visit the Flourishes blog and join the pre release challenge here and you’ll be in the running to win all three of our new releases for November.  Get all the details on the Flourishes blog!

Your coloring is PERFECT (I really should hate you for that) and the embellishments you added are the perfect finishing touches. Especially the pearls on the CTD card...so pretty ♥
