Last but not least

Fine Herbs Graphic_edited-1

This last August set from Flourishes is full of lovely herb prints. Fine Herbs are a very natural, soft, stippled design and so beautiful!

For my first card chose the geranium. I added ink to the stamp using Versa Magic Dew Drops adding green to the stem and leaves and pink to the flowers. Stamped more than once without inking in between so some images are just a hint of color. The whole background is very soft and subtle. I used a rectangle Spellbinder Nestabilities die to cut out the wonderful sentiment and chalked around it while it was still in the die. The patterned paper is from the Jubilee line from Memory Box. I used a piece of crocheted lace and a button with some embroidery floss as an embellishment.

My next card shows a lovely single lavender bloom. I inked it the same way as above, stamping off without re-inking so each image was lighter than the last. I stamped the sentiment in the corner in Memento London Fog then spritzed the entire panel with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Juneberry Wine. I also inked around the panel with Distress Ink in Antique Linen. I used a Martha Stewart punch on the panel beneath the main image and then threaded a green ribbon through it.

Oh, sigh... The colors of your first card just steal my heart. So delicate and sweet. Both cards are simply beautiful. There's something I always admire about your style -- neither over nor underdone. Just perfect!

Beautiful set. The cards are lovely. The look is very much like hammered flowers (with out the mess) Great look. Hugs...

Such beautiful cards Danielle, the combination of the soft colors in the square card are just amazing. And I love the pop of depth of the burgundy against the softness to the lavender! And that ribbon weaving is just beautiful!
