Woo hoo! I can’t believe we are at 100 challenges! Today’s celebration is a biggie with dozens of prizes and chances to win! Leave a comment on my blog to win one of four prizes I will be giving away! Here’s the down n’ dirty:
You must create a paper creation using the Color Throwdown colors and upload it using the Inlinkz widget on the blog. Then comment on the blogs. The more blogs you comment on the better your chances are of winning-it’s as simple as that! BUT for the full detail, make sure you read the rules on the Color Throwdown blog.
Today I am using my favorite Flourishes stamp set for my creation. Gerbera Daisies are one of my favorite flowers. They come in so many different colors so I knew I could make them work for today’s colors and I love to use them to create dimension. My colors are similar but not an exact match to the swatch. Just remember that you must use the same color scheme as the swatch, that’s all!
My image is stamped twice, once for the background main image and then again so I could cut out a few flowers and the butterfly. After coloring the images with Copics I selected a few blooms to pop up over the original. I filled the centers with Flower Soft in Lemon. I also stamped the butterfly twice and popped up the outer wing. I used Spellbinders to cut out the main image and layered it over Bo Bunny dot and Prismatic cardstock. The ribbon is that luscious silk from Flourishes and I added few simple flat backed pearls to finish.
