How Sweet it is!

It’s Flourishes Sneak Peek time! Today I have two cards to show you that I created using the new set Berry Sweet. And it IS sweet!

Berry Sweet Graphic

My first card I chose to use the raspberries image. It’s stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Flourishes Classic White card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits.

I used Spellbinders Nestabilities dies to cut out the image and the mat. The patterned paper is from the Green At Heart line from Basic Grey. I used a piece of this pretty raspberry crocheted trim between the two panels. I used another Spellbinder die to cut the tag that the sentiment is stamped on and added a couple of bows from twine and copper brads.

Below the blueberries I paired with a piece of Basic Grey paper from the Urban Prairie line. I stamped the card base, which is Ballet Blue from SU! and a perfect match to my berries, with the blueberry image using Versamark. I had stamped out a sentiment but then decided it didn’t “fit” the front design of the card so I just added it to the inside instead. I liked the clean simple look with out the sentiment panel crowding it.

So pretty on both counts, Danielle! Love the raspberries in combo with the Green at Heart paper. Such a pretty vintage pattern and the perfect trim. Your blueberry card is just wonderful! You're so right about the Ballet Blue being a perfect match. Gosh, I didn't even recognize the Urban Prairie at first. Love that you saw the possibility in this piece.
