It's Release Day at Flourishes

Here's the last sneak peek before all of the new sets go on sale tonight at 11pm Central time.

I am using this beautiful image from Spring Bouquet.  So many color options on this!  It comes full of lovely sentiments too!

DPK_SneakPeek_SpringBouquet

The image was stamped on Flourishes card stock and colored with Copic markers.  I then placed a Spellbinders die on top of the image and where the flowers extended past the die I cut around them so that when I did use the die I could pull the edges of the flowers out from underneath so the wouldn't get cut off.   Since I used the largest die in this Nestabilities set I laid it on black card stock and traced around the outside and cut it out with scissors so that it would be just a little larger than the image panel to use as a mat. I used some gorgeous silk ribbon from Flourishes which I wrapped around a patterned paper panel from the Sugared line by Basic Grey.  I used punches for the sentiment and mat.  Both the image panel and the sentiment are popped up on dimensional adhesive foam.  I added a few tiny pearls in the top left corner and glittered all of the flowers with a fine glitter in coordinating colors and a Quickie Glue Pen.

The angle below lets you see some of the sparkle!

very nice card. Thanks for the tips on cutting around your image prior to die cutting.

You need a Cricut to cut out the larger sizes for Spellbinder's, or in between sizes etc... Although you did a fabulous job of cutting around it.I would never have known.
