Flourishes Friday Focus

TGIF!  Today’s Flourishes Friday Focus is Flower Frenzy!  Wow, say that three times fast!  Dawn has a tutorial over at the Flourishes blog so head on over and check it out!

DPK_FF_Apr30

I used the  Nasturtiums Stamp Set and stamped the flowers repeatedly on orange polka dot paper and cut them out.  I stamped the sentiment from the set and cut it and the green mat with Spellbinders and adhered it to a printed panel.  All patterned paper is from Making Memories Chloe’s Closet.  I added some shading to the center of the flowers with a YR04 Copic marker and then clear micro beads adhered with Diamond Glaze.  I used a green Prima flower and separated the petals to tuck behind the flowers like leaves.

Check out the ladies below as they have flowery samples to share today too!

Danielle, I LOVE this! You've really given those nasturtiums a whole new look the way you cut them out and grouped them around the sentiment. The paper you chose for the flowers is perfect and so cute with the bird print. Great colors. I just love everything about it!
