This week the Flourishes Friday Focus is on Laura and paper piecing – check it out at the Flourishes blog.
Today I decided to use Thank You stamp set. That beautiful tulip was beggin’ to come out for the spring!
The sentiment panel and tulip is stamped multiple times on Flourishes cream cardstock and then the tulip was stamped again on a separate piece of paper colored with Copics. It’s cut out and popped up over one of the stamped images on the main panel. I distressed and inked the edges up with Distress Ink in Brushed Corduroy. The sentiment was stamped separately and cut out with a Spellbinders label die with was threaded with a piece of olive silk ribbon and popped up over the panel. It’s layered on an old pp piece from K & Company and then layered onto a red cardstock base.
