High Hopes Challenge #52

Good morning! Hope the weekend has been great so far! Yesterday I attended the Greater New York Stamp show held in Smithtown Long Island, NY with some friends and I got to meet Jodi Collins (aka Kharmagirl) whose blog I am quite familiar with! She's a doll and it was so much fun to chat with her and her lovely friends! Waving to Jodi and Dina!! Of course I spent a lot of money too! Motivet and Magenta both had booths there and my wallet definitely got lighter after visiting those! On to this weeks High Hopes Challenge!

This week the challenge was a sketch hosted by Lacey!

I had colored these pilgrims up a month or so ago but hated that their outfits were all black and boring! That's probably just how they looked but I didn't want to use them after I was done. When I came across them last week I knew I would be able to put them to use. I added some color with the apples and pumpkin and a bit of glitter. I paired them up with this fun paper from Debbie Mum and a few accessories and voila! They are just too cute!

Make sure you pop on over to the High Hopes blog and join in this weeks challenge and see all the great samples the DT has to share! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Well I think this turned out fabulous, but I think that's why I haven't used this image either! I kept thinking of another color to use for their clothes....but I'm pretty sure pilgrims didn't wear pink or green outfits, lol!
