ETA: So sorry but I apparently forgot to upload the photo with the post...brain fart...what can I say?
Good Sunday morning! This weeks High Hopes challenge brought to us by Nikki is to use non-traditional Christmas colors. I didn't have the opportunity to use this Woodland Santa last year and was so happy to finally ink him up! He's stamped on Neenah Solar Crest White Ultra Smooth cardstock with Copics.
I used a piece of design paper from My Minds Eye. The colors are blues and pinks and greens and light browns...soft and pretty. I pulled the colors for my image from that. The cardstocks are a combination of Prism and SU. On Santa's hat I used some Marvy Liquid Applique, and white flock for all of his hair. I then treated the ground and other random areas, his hat, the tree, the sky, with Polar White Flower Soft. Lots of texture on this!
Please hop on over to the High Hopes blog and see all the great samples the design team has on display and join in to win some stamps! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
