Color Throwdown #60 and Simon Says Stamp

Happy Wednesday and welcome to Color Throwdown #60 which is sponsored this week by Simon Says Stamp. The colors this week were chosen LeAnne...and lovely palette indeed. I decided not to make a card but to finally use one of these giant paper clips that I have had for ages and make a bookmark. Besides, I thought he looked smart with his specs and he lent himself to it!

This cute turtle is from the set Turtle Buddies and I stamped the image and clear embossed it before coloring with Copics. I used Diamond Glaze on his glasses and added some bling with Stickles in Lime Green. The dew drops were a necessary embellishment to cover a boo boo....oops! I used Marvy punches for the image and the scallop mat, which I cut two of so I could cover the back. I added dots to the scallops with a black glaze pen.

Please join us for a chance to be chosen Featured Stamper and play for the prize being offered by Simon Says Stamp. See the blog for more details!

What a cute turtle! As long as there are flowers, brads and dewdrops, there are no mistakes we can't cover up, right? :)This is really a cute project!!
