High Hopes Challenge #38 for this Diva!

Yep, that's me! I have been most fortunate to have been asked to be a Guest Diva for High Hopes from July through September! I am joining an extremely talented design team and filling some big shoes of the previous GD's...whoo boy this is certainly an honor! Without further adieu here is my first GD card!

This weeks High Hopes Challenge is Lots and Lots of Dots and I chose to use bubbles as my dots. I used Diver Dan and the underwater scene with some friends. The image is stamped on watercolor paper, painted with watercolors, and then overpainted with H2O's for depth and shimmer. Dan, the fish, and the star fish were also watercolored, cut out and popped up on the scene. The mat under the main image is Bazzill swiss dot patterned paper. The larger mat was run through with a cuttlebug folder and then the dots/bubbles were run over with a Brilliance Moonlight White pigment ink pad to make them pop.

I used Rain Dots as bubbles from the fish and general water bubbles around the image. The sentiment was punched with an SU large oval punch and I added dots around the edge with a blue fine point Sharpie. The ribbon was in my stash and added another layer of dots! The color really seems to be more vibrant and sparkly irl! I hope you can click and enlarge the image and see some of it!
