Hello!

This cutie pie is from the Little Critters set by Anna Wight for Whipper Snapper. I stamped the tree branch first and then stamped the owl on top. They are colored with Copic markers. I inked the edges of the main panel with Distress Ink in Tea Dye. I used a few coordinating sheets of paper from DCWV The Green Stack. I LOVE that paper. So much so, that I bought all three sizes of paper pads...hey, they were on sale! I stamped Hello and punched it out with a Marvy tag punch. I stamped the leaves from the tree branch again, colored and cut out, and stuck it behind the small tag and added a tiny button. I added some simple ribbon knotted to finish it off.

I have a busy weekend. Joey has karate and a birthday party today and Sunday is my mom's birthday so she's coming for dinner. I haven't figured out dessert yet, but I am making a prime rib roast, yum! And not that anyone asked, but here is the absolute best foolproof method that I always use to cook it. It's a honkin' expensive piece of beef...so you don't want to ruin it! Have a great weekend!

I so love Anna Wight's designs and I love her blog too. She is so talented and has even left me comments on my blog. Your card is so cute, and I love the papers you used. I envy you your talent to match paper like you do! Happy Birthday to your Mom too! By the way, ironically, I have a stange story that involves my Mom and a picture of her I just posted. Go see when you have a minute. Best, Curt
