I made this birthday card for a friend last week using my newly acquired Cupcake Affair stamp set from Verve Visual. I had put off buying it because I didn't think I really needed it, lol, but broke down and bought several when there was a big sale to make room for the new release which began last night. As I am writing this it is not yet 10 pm est so the new stamps are not viewable!
I used DCWV Sweets paper pack for the dp and the cardstock is PTI Raspberry Fizz and Chocolate. The ribbon is also from PTI. The image and sentiment are stamped in Versa Fine Vintage Sepia. The cupcake and flowers are all paper pieced...the flowers and frosting up on foam dimesionals and gems in the flower centers. I also coated the frosting with Diamond Glaze and chunky glitter. The hydrangeas are from Prima and the centers are little adhesive gems. Very pretty stamp set and I am glad I bought it!
Well I have got to get my butt into bed...losing an hour is never fun! At least the weather was mild today and I was able to wash my car before it rained!
