Good President's Day morning! I am working this morning since my husband is off from work and will be home with the boys. And since I am working the holiday I will get to take another day off in it's place...and I will do that when ALL the boys are at work and school so I can have the whole day to myself! I relish the thought....
Anyway, here's a card I made over the weekend. It's from High Hopes and I am not sure of the exact title but Hogwash sounds good! I had to have this adorable stamp but it sat uninked for quite some time as I tried to figure out what I was going to use it for. Well, after I realized how super cute it was after coloring it I decided I could use it for anything!
The image is colored with Copics on GinaK 120lb Pure Luxury paper. I inked around the panel with Distress Ink in Scattered Straw and Walnut Stain. I used Diamond Glaze on the bubbles and puddle. I also added glitter to the bubbles before they dried and I hope you can see the sparkle in the photo below. The picture just doesn't do it justice...it's really sparkly and oh so pretty!
I popped up the shower cap, tub feet, and bar of soap for a little added dimension. The red flowers are from the bridal dept at Michael's and started out pearly white then colored with a Copic. The others are Prima's that also started out natural color to which I added Copic colors. Each has a gem in the center. I finished it off by adding Rain Drops (I can't for the life of me remember who makes them...but they're those dimensional translucent adhesive dots in different colors...) to the corners of the panel in clear and blues. The patterened paper is from Bo Bunny...something Poppy....sorry! It's the graphic design on one side and the distressed pink on the other. Very pretty!

Ooooo, I LOVE the little piggies! Have fun working! Our son now gathers the eggs so my arms are turning into mush! Lifting laundry helps a bit. I suppose that is work isn't it!?

Hogwash sounds great, and you're darn right you could use it for anything! Anyone would get a kick out of receiving this card. It's just way too adorable!! I love it!
What a cute card, one of your best! It reminds me of me & my little sisters in the bathtub taking a bubble bath!!!! LOVE all the details, that's what makes it even more special!

I know what you mean about a whole day to yourself :) I always look forward to my no school days and get disapointed if DH winds up at home too. Sad, huh.
He is working nights this week so I have some time for crafting with out the guilt. i.e. should be making supper, doing laundry, etc.

I love this image!! You did a fantastic job capturing the whimsical nature of it by cutting and layering, enhancing the bubbles and distressing it. The little flowers add to it as well. Great job!!
This is just super Danielle! what a fun stamp - love the poppped up shower cap, soap and feet of the tub! and the shiny bubbles - the flowers look great in the corners - wonderful design on this!
