Continuing with my hiatus from Copic marker I watercolored this image. I went a little more freestyle on the watercoloring on this image unlike the Magnolia image here . Freestyle...like that? Not sloppy, no sir, freestyle. Yeah, that's it. I used Marvy dye ink pads to watercolor on watercolor paper which the image was stamped in black Versafine ink. I can't believe how many years I have had these Marvy ink pads and they are still inky and in great shape...and I let my 5 year old use them all the time!
I think the ribbon is from Michaels, but once I chose this sentiment and to make it circular, the "blue ribbon" look was born. The pattered paper is a Chatterbox scrap. A few dew drops to fill in the blank space and done.
