Color Throwdown #30

It's time for another Color Throwdown and this week it's being hosted by the lovely LeAnne. These colors were perfect for Chloe's Closet paper!!

I just got my hands on this adorable Tilda and I couldn't wait to use her. I love those chubby cheeks and the little curls popping out from under her hat! I picked her up at All That Scraps! She's colored with Copics and her feet were cut away from the white paper leaving the rectangle around her body that fit right into the center of the rectangle cut with Nestabilities. I added dots around the frame with Liquid Pearls-and not without mishap. I couldn't stop thinking about Bonnie and her telling me that she couldn't use it without making a mess...and neither could I on this card! I smushed a few, fixed them, then proceeded to smush the same ones again. I just have no patience for drying time :)

I added a few Prima hydrangea's with Kaiser flat backed pearls and some greenery with a Martha Stewart punch. A couple of buttons and thread finished it off. Oh, and I added some dots to her blouse with an Inkssentials opaque white pen.

Don't forget to check out all the other talented team members!

LeAnne Pugliesi - Wee Inklings
Barbara Anders - Paper Pursuits
Broni Holcomb - Splashes of Watercolor
Tammy Hershberger - Stamp Happy
Cathy Indelicato - Crafty Thoughts

And check out my pick for Featured Stamper from CTD week 29, Pam Speidel Stamping with Serenity.

Happy Wednesday!

This is such a precious Tilda image and looks so cute dressed in this week's colors. Love the way you cut her out so that she looks like she is perched on the edge of the rectangle.
