High Hopes Challenge #7

I have some catching up to do on my posting. I am feeling much better now and almost completely over that nasty upper respiratory infection so I have no more excuses! Thanks for all the well wishes!

This weeks High Hopes Challenge comes from Anna Wight and it's to use anything sparkly on your card. I have so many High Hopes stamps that needed to be mounted so I tackled it recently. I found this adorable fall image that I had yet to ink up (and there's more!). I love how this little guy playing in the pile of leaves reminds me of mine.

I decided to try my hand at stamping on kraft paper again. I still need more practice but I really like it. I used my Prisma pencils and OMS to color. I went over the leaves with Shimmerz and then Stickles in a few different colors to really make the leaves sparkle. It was so hard to get a picture to show the true color and also the sparkle so this is kind of in between. The paper is a sheet from Daisy Bucket and it's polka dots on one side and the stripes on the other. It's so pretty irl!

Have a great night!
