How about candy for breakfast?

I do have some cards to share but I thought first thing on Monday morning candy would be nicer-blog candy that is! I put together a fun little package of halloween goodies. So just for the heck of it, here it is:

The picture could be better but there's a 4x6 mat pad with great halloween paper and matching rub-ons from K& Company, a two pack of punches, one with a pumpkin and one with a spider from Paper Shapers, and three great halloween clear stamp sets from Studio G. I bought myself a couple of these they're so darn cute! Oops, the ribbon didn't make it into the shot-well, it'll be a surprise then won't it? You can see the stamps better in the picture below.

So in order to enter you have to do two things: First tell me what was your favorite halloween costume you ever wore and second, I'd really love it if you would spread the blog candy word and post it on your blog if you have one. Then you have until Thursday 8:00pm eastern time to enter. I will draw a winner using random.org sometime after 8pm and announce it Friday morning.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend and here's to a happy Monday!

My DH husband and I decided to go to a Halloween party and we only had 3 days to decided what we were going to wear. He decided he wanted to go has a bunny and brought home fabric and said here. So I made his costume with no pattern except for his body. It turn out pretty good, but he looks so funny. Thanks for a chance at this awesome candy.

my favorite Halloween costume was a ghost, using the traditional bedsheet. The problem was, Dad made it, out of MOM's best KING SIZE sheet. Her favorite cotton one, the one that was warm in the winter and so soft....boy were we in trouble! But Dad took me out trick or treating and we laughed and knocked on oh so many doors. It was great fun, until we got HOME! Linda Crowder

Hmmmm, I'd have to say that my favorite costume was when I dressed up as Casper the Ghost. The mask was plastic and I had a sheet over my head for the rest of the costume. I *loved* Casper!

This is awesome blog candy! You know how I love Halloween! My favorite costume ever was a mummy. My Dad was really into Halloween, and tore strips from an old white sheet and wrapped me from head to toe. When I got to the Halloween party, the nuns thought I had came as a car accident victim! LOL What a hoot! You are on my blog! Best, Curt

Wow, my favorite costume.....my memory is so bad! I just remember the costumes back in the day all came in boxes and had those bad masks! So I am a loser, I cannot remember any costumes! But my favorite costume on my daughter was Pebbles (I made the costume) when she was 2!

and there is a post on my blog about you! This is a very generous giveaway!

The thing I remember about my Halloween Costumes oh so long ago (!!) is that we usually just wore the store bought mask (they didn't come with the costumes way back then!) and I usually ended up with it pushed up onto my forehead because 1) you couldn't see well through the eye holes and 2) they made you sweat!

I'll be happy to tell people about your blog candy on my blog

thanks for the chance to win these fun goodies!

Linked you on my blog. My fave halloween costume was a dice (die), I never have figured that out. Anyway, it was a big box we painted white and put black dots on and I wore a black leotard under it.

I guess my favorite costume would be as an adult... me and my BFF had a Halloween party and I dressed up as a witch (no big stretch there!) She was the Bride of Frankenstein. And what a party it was ! Still remember it!

Thanks for the chance, I don't have a blog but will gladly pass the word on to visit!

I have to say that the favorite costume that I ever dressed up as was a punk rocker! My boyfriend then husband now and I did this and took my nephew to the mall and then we had a party to go to after we dropped him off with his mom when she got off work. It was so fun because of the people and their reactions with the are you for real or is this just for halloween.

Thanks for the chance I do not have a blog but have spread the word about your site with a bunch of my friend.

I think my favorite costume I ever had ws an angel. I had a friend who owned a costume shop and she insisted I wear the angel costume one year. My name is Angel so it was perfect. LOVE your work!

I LOVE your blog candy!! Wouldn't it be nice if the first time I win, it would be this. I wore a mermaid costume, made by a sheet wrapped around me in my swim suit. However, it severely hampered my ability to walk, and halfway thru the night I cut it off at the knees just so I could be mobile. Fun memory.
I like your cards for males.. some great ideas! Thanks.

High school...no, I wasn't still trick or treating at that age ;) I worked in a haunted house and was a severed head on a table. It was incredible makeup and artistry and I got lots of great screams from it.

A few years ago I went to a wedding on Halloween eve and dressing in costume was mandatory. What great fun we had. I went as Carmen Maranda, you know the chica that wore fruit on her head. Some people never heard of her but I did get a lot of attention....cha cha cha! Great blog candy and loved reading the rest of the posts.

I LOVE your blog!!

When I was in 4th grade, my mother tirelessly made a big slice of watermelon as my costume. It was made mostly out of felt - the black rind hit my knees, and swung out about 1' to each side of me. My head perched atop the point of the watermelon slice. I wore red shiny shoes and black tights. Naturally, I had 6" watermelon seeds sprinkled over the slice of watermelon, and even one in my hair.

It was so cute, and today remains my all time favorite costume; mostly because I enviously watched her painstakingly sew all the pieces together.

I always used to dress up in my dads Army uniform - I thought I was so cool cause it had my name on it!

Great blog candy!! I totally miss being able to buy those StudioG stamps!!

I was one of those lucky kids whose mom made wonderful costumes. I have so many favorites, but one that I just loved was the red satin with black fringe flapper cosutme I wore when I was 12. I was allowed to go all out with the makeup and false eyelashes. WOW! I don't have a blog yet, but I do check yours everyday I am on-line.

I'm not sure I remember what my favorite costume was, but one of my favorites of all time was one I made for my oldest son. He went dressed as a fly, and I used a big set of transparent angel wings for fly wings, he was dressed in a black sweatsuit with black high top tennis shoes, and he wore a black ski mask to which I had sewn mesh tea strainers (handles removed, obviously) to the eye openings. It was so cute, and he won the costume contests at school and church. I love Halloween! It's my favorite holiday!!!! I don't have a current blog, but I learned of yours through the Paperville blog. Thanks Lauri! Now I have a new blog to add to my favorites, and I'll be visiting often!!

My fave costumes were the good ol' fashion ones they made in the mid-80's that came in the box - it had the plastic costume that you stuck your arms in and tied around and the matching plastic mask with the eyes punched out... I remember being Wonder Woman and my lil' sister was a Cabbage Patch Kid, lol.
Thanx for the opportunity to win some yummy Halloween goodies :)
Good luck to all!

I've never worn a Halloween costume. I live in Finland and Halloween isn't really something that we celebrate over here. Although some decorations and things like that have started to make their way to the shops since a few years back.

The blog candy looks great!
