God and Nature

I just love this sentiment...I don't feel like I use them as much as I should. I usually leave them off until I get ready to use the card but then sometimes I am rushing to send one out (usually late!) and I forget anyway!

This is almost a case of a card that Michele Boyer did here, except her's is gorgeous! She's done a few similar to this lately and I really love the soft, vintage feel of them. I didn't ever notice it before, but I am greatly lacking in pink ink. I decided I wanted to do these in a pink similar to the flowers on the pp from Memorybox Sprout and found that the only one's I had were mauves. Weird huh? I have every shade of green you could think of though! I stamped the images from Gelatins stamps in Colorbox Dusty Mauve and Velvet. The sentiment I'll have to get back to you on...I am too lazy to run back down the stairs to look who's it is...it's on the tip of my tongue but not coming out! I stitched around both panels in dark brown and added these gorgeous hydrangea flowers from Prima. The centers are pearls from Kaiser craft and the leaves I punched inked and curled a bit before adding. I hope everyone has a happy Friday! Good night!

Don't sell yourself short....your card is gorgeous too. I love the flower arrangement in the corner (I can never seem to arrange flowers very well.) I also love the hint of flowers in the centre....it's like you're seeing them through a fog..it's so peaceful and awesome. Joan
