Pink Ladybug

Here's another card I made with Papertreyink stamps. I bought this set about a month ago and I just got around to using it. I think the ladybugs in this set are so cute! I love making them in all different colors! Everything except the ink is from Papertreyink. This PTI patterned paper is gorgeous too! I wanted to buy the 2" ink cubes in the matching paper colors but they have been out of stock. I will wait until the next release when I most likely will be ordering again and see if I can them then. With that said, I used Versamagic in Red Magic on the ladybug, inking lighter in the center and darker around the edges. It's not a perfect match by any means but it coordinated really well with the cardstock and pp. And actually, my 4 year old suggested it while he was watching me go through the colors to find something that matched! The kids got good taste! The finished card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and I cut smaller squares of the pp and then cut them diagonally to create the pinwheel look. The same 4 year old was then annoyed that I didn't make the pattern symmetrical and put a piece of polka dot paper in the top right. Oh well, he should have been watching me and could have caught me before I glued it down. I just love this sentiment that comes in the set too.

Have a great day!

I love this Danielle!! I keep going back to this set and wanting to order it, I don't know why I don't! But I love how you said "I most likely will be ordering again" - it's just a given, isn't it??!
