Dancing With Daffodils

The latest release in the Power Poppy Digital line is here!

Dancing With DaffodilsMarcy says:

This image features awakening daffodils and twirling foliage in a tangle of periwinkle (Vinca minor), with a roly poly snail. A "just because" sentiment (with a transparent background) shares the daffodils' twirling sensibility!

This beautiful image just evokes spring and makes me long for the day I see the bright delicate green sprigs start to break the surface of the soil, sigh…

I began by coloring the image with Copic markers.  Then I added some depth and shimmer by painting over the flowers and snail with Twinkling H2O’s.  It’s such a pretty iridescence that you just can’t capture in a photo.   I trimmed the image panel using a Spellbinders die from the Curved Rectangles set.   With the die still in place, I sponged inside edges with Wheat ink from a VersaMagic Dew Drop

The paper is from the MME pad Tangerine and I added a few orange sequins for some texture and pop.

The samples will make you flip!  See each of them at these Instant Gardeners blogs below!
