Joy to the World

Happy Friday!  Are you ready for Thanksgiving?  I am hosting 11 this year and working on my menu and shopping list.  I feel pretty organized so far…keeping my fingers crossed doesn’t hurt though!
Today I am sharing an image from Joyful Arrangements from Power Poppy.  Another beautiful Christmas stamp set from Marcella Hawley.

After stamping the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink I colored it with Copic markers.  I cut out the image with Spellbinders dies, Labels One.  With the die still in place I sponged the image with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.   I added sparkle to the topiary and bells with a Stardust Gelly Roll pen.   I then cut a Spellbinders Shapeability Ribbon Banner in half and attached to each side of the main image panel.  The original banner was not long enough and I wanted more of the banner to show from under the panel.   Then I added some branches I created with a Martha Stewart punch and added Diamond Dust Stickles.    All of this is mounted on patterned paper from Authentique: Wonder.
Well, this is my last post with Power Poppy.  I have made the difficult decision to step down from this amazing design team.  It has been an honor to work for this wonderful new company and the amazing and talented Marcella Hawley!   I know I won’t stray far from these beautiful images though!
Now, check out all of the gorgeous creations from the Bloom Brigade today!

  4. Beautiful, Danielle! It's perfect with the music background, and I super love how you used the banner die. I'll have to keep that in mind. I'm going to miss you on the DT. Sob! You'd think I was hosting 11 judging by the amount of groceries we bought today. Sheesh!
