And one more thing…Let’s welcome Christine Okken to the ADFD Design Team! If you are not familiar with Christine, prepare yourself for some gorgeous stuff! We are so happy to have her join us!
Guess who doesn’t have any houndstooth paper? This girl! I found one online and printed on cardstock to paper piece with.
I had so much fun working with this adorable image, Scotty Mistletoe A!
First I based the image with Copic markers, then I went back over Scotty with Prismacolor pencils and oms. I used the same to shade around the image. I paper pieced his cape and adding shading to that with a Copic marker. The sentiment, from a stamp set from another company, was cut out with a Long Rectangle Spellbinders die. I used a houndstooth embossing folder from Cuttlebug for the background panel. All of the patterned paper is from the Authentique Festive paper pad.
Come and get an eyeful of beauties from the other ladies below!
Bundle up and have a wonderful weekend!

So cute, he looks warm and cozy in his fancy sweater too. :)
This is so sweet, Danielle!!!!
I love the softness the pencils bring to this!!
Super cute sweater, too!
He's totally adorable in his little houndstooth jacket, Danielle! I think I might have one piece of houndstooth paper, two houndstooth stamps, and a houndstooth embossing folder. This makes me want to get at least one of them out and use it. Your coloring always rocks. So sweet!
Love the hounds tooth cape. Sweet card.
