Poinsettia

This is one of my favorite new sets from the October release from Power Poppy.  I love me a pretty poinsettia!

The image contains one beautiful big poinsettia bloom and pomegranates.  It’s a gorgeous combination.

After I colored my image with Copic markers I trimmed it closely. Then I used a Krylon Gold paint pen and edged it.  I used the gold edging again around the sentiment.    I painted over each pomegranate  and the poinsettia center with iridescent translucent paint to give them a soft shimmer.   You can see it in the image below.

I yet again went to my Authentique Festive paper pad for this layout.  I used a Spellbinders  lacey circles die for a mat under the image.
