May Poppy Hop
It’s a new release and what better way to show off all of the new amazing images than a hop! It’s a Power Poppy Hop!
This month Marcella Hawley created gorgeous botanicals in a digital only format. For a limited time you can purchase these images in digi form. Instant gratification! And you can resize, flip, change colors, or create backgrounds and digital paper with them. How awesome is that?!
For today’s card I used the Tulips image with the matching sentiment to create a background. I was inspired by Ally’s card here! Took me a while to figure out how to do that, but don’t fret, tutorials will soon be available to help you work with digital images on the Power Poppy blog. I also printed out the Tulips image larger and just used one bloom, colored with Copic markers. The sentiment I paired with it is the one that comes with the Gladioli set.
I really enjoyed playing with the digi’s this month, not to mention how much fun it was to color these stunning images! Make sure you hop to each and every Bloom Brigade blog to see the gorgeous creations today!
