Color Throwdown #42

This week our colors were chosen by LeAnne and they were tough for me! Good thing I peeked at theirs before I made mine though...talk about the whole team being on the same wave length! Not only might I have used the exact same stamps as another team member, but 3 others used the same Basic Grey paper that I thought about using myself! So my tubular monkey is from CC Designs Summertime Fun, which is on sale now btw... He is stamped in VersaFine black on Neenah Solar Crest Ultra Smooth cs and colored with my Prisma pencils and oms. I used Diamond Glaze on the tube polka dots and Stickles in Icicle and Waterfall on the water and sentiment and brad. The tempting turquoise panel is embossed with a cuttlebug folder and inked with a bit of Colorbox Frost White to make the swirls stand out. The ribbon is Lemon Tart from PTI and is a pretty close match to the So Saffron.
