Frosted Gingerbread

It’s day three of the October sneak peeks from Power Poppy!  This is a yummy one!

This was so much fun to color!

I chose the candy strip knowing it would make a pretty border.  I colored it up with Copic markers and sponged around the edges with Wheat ink from a VersaMagic Dew Drop.  I added clear micro beads to the gum drops to make them look sugar coated.  You can see it in the close up below.

The patterned paper is from the Jillibean Soup Christmas Eve Chowder pad.   I trimmed one edge of the brown printed paper with a scalloped edge border punch.   I stamped the sentiment and sponged the edges of that panel to match the main image.
See all of the yumminess from the Bloom Brigade ladies below.

Warm and wonderful again, Danielle! You just have a way. So cool that you added microbeads to the gumdrops. I love this border stamp. Very cute!

This is gorgeous! I like that you used the candy strip, and to add those microbe ads as a coating and dimension, that was clever! Thanks for the inspiration! Can't wait to see what you come up with tomorrow!
