Fun With Ruffles

Hello and happy Friday!  Today is a new set of fun images from A Day For Daisies called Kangaroo Fun.  In addition to the new images, today is also a challenge, to use ruffles.
Here is Kangaroo Ballet.  Isn’t she cute?!

I colored the image first with a Copic marker, then shaded over the marker with Prismacolor pencils and oms.  After trimming out the image closely, I used a gathering stitch to create a little tutu with some pink tulle.  I glued that over the skirt and added a tiny pink paper rose to dress it up.
I popped her up over a Labels Sixteen die cut from Spellbinders and added a tiny tab with some pink ribbon.   All of the patterned paper is from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss pad. I thought this would be a cute card for a little girl.
Check out the great creations this week from our design team.  Then join us over at the ADFD blog to play in our challenge!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
